From Symantec to First National Bank, companies who offer discounts and other perks for NRA members are answering the public’s call to boycott the American pro-gun organization

Thursday afternoon saw #BoycottNRA trending on social media as companies who have offered discounts and other services to card carrying NRA members have begun ending their partnerships with the National Rifle Association in the aftermath of one of the worst school shootings in American history.

A list of companies who have joined the boycott is as follows:

Best Western
Wyndham Hotels
Enterprise Holdings
Hertz
Lifelock
Alamo Rent A Car
National Rent A Car
Enterprise Rent A Car
First National Bank of Omaha
Symantec
MetLife
Norton Antivirus
Allied Insurance
SimpliSafe

However some high profile companies have yet to respond to the boycott. For example, FedEx, easily one of the most widely used and competitive shipping companies in the U.S., has been silent, along with the country’s largest retailer Amazon:

FedEx
Amazon
Apple
AT&T
Clearent
Google
HotelPlanner

Florida High School shooting victims have been actively protesting since the Valentine’s day shooting, saying they plan to run for office and lobby congress for more gun control after they graduate. Meanwhile, the mainstream media is touting this as a “pivotal point” in congressional history, although there hasn’t been much coverage
