From Symantec to First National Bank, companies who offer discounts and other perks for NRA members are answering the public’s call to boycott the American pro-gun organization
Thursday afternoon saw #BoycottNRA trending on social media as companies who have offered discounts and other services to card carrying NRA members have begun ending their partnerships with the National Rifle Association in the aftermath of one of the worst school shootings in American history.
A list of companies who have joined the boycott is as follows:
Alamo Rent A Car
National Rent A Car
Enterprise Rent A Car
First National Bank of Omaha
However some high profile companies have yet to respond to the boycott. For example, FedEx, easily one of the most widely used and competitive shipping companies in the U.S., has been silent, along with the country’s largest retailer Amazon:
Google, Amazon, YouTube, Apple, Roku, and AT&T all support NRA TV, the organizations television channel.
