White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed reports this morning that she was indeed told to leave The Red Hen, a restaurant located in Lexington, Va.
Sarah Sanders, the controversial White House Press Secretary who recently referred to the Bible when answering questions regarding immigration in a press conference, was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant along with seven members of her family yesterday almost as soon as she sat down. Sanders confirmed this in a tweet:
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

The Red Hen, a popular restaurant located in Lexington, Virginia, was then targeted by conservative trolls on review sites such as Yelp and Facebook, to which critics of the Trump administration also engaged in defense of The Red Hen.
