White House Website Removes Climate Change, LGBT, Immigration and Civil Rights Pages

Trump inauguration speech

In a clear effort to make America dumb again, a massive change was made to the White House website on Inauguration Day in the early morning

Major changes were made to Whitehouse.gov, the U.S. government’s website representing the White House administration and priorities, on Friday January 20th 2017, President Donald J. Trump’s Inauguration Day.

The changes included a sweeping removal of any mention of “climate change”, as can be demonstrated with a google search of the site. Trump had spent the past year and a half campaigning against the idea that climate change was real, saying that it is a hoax created by the Chinese, an assertion which he has offered no evidence for.

Other changes include pages on LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transexual) alliances, immigration policy and civil rights policy, the sad irony of which is that Trump’s inauguration speech consisted largely of saying that “from this day forward” he would ensure that the government worked for the people and by the people. One only need ask the simple question of how exactly removing spotlights on three major portions of the population (gay people, immigrants and people of color) from the White House website is helping, but that most likely will never happen.

The policies that were removed from the website can mostly be found on former president Barack Obama‘s government website. Nothing has yet been released on plans for the future of the current administration’s web site.
